Summary

Top Notch

Top Notch is a record label that represents some of the best Dutch hiphop acts out there. Signed artists like the Opposites, Dio, Flinke Namen and De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig make Top Notch one of the most successful music labels in the Netherlands. Top Notch is bursting with talent; a quality that Brandfighters also possesses. More than enough reason to start a competition together!

The Q4

For this contest you get to work on a video clip for The Q4, a Dutch up-and-coming hiphop group. They are known for a fantastic performance in the popular Dutch talkshow De Wereld Draait Door.  Their latest album Sound Surroundings holds the number one position in the Dutch iTunes download charts.

The mission

Make a cool video clip for the song One of these Days from The Q4 (you can download the mp3 when you accept the assignment). Depending on the quality of the result, the winner will get a chance for a professional reshoot with the artist. You can keep this in mind while shooting your video. For example, you can make use of stand-in actors that can later be replaced by the artists or you can come up with a video concept where the band isn't shown. Plenty of options!

*note: Shooting a complete 4-minute video clip can be a bit too much for some contestants. Therefore, you can also send in a 30 minute snippet/concept video. As long as you make sure your idea is clear. Good luck!

*Note: this contest does not count for the period prizes.

The winning video gets the same seeding treatment as any other Top Notch video clip. Think of seeding via different kinds of Internet channels, as well as the television channels TMF and MTV. So when you make a great video that's well received by the viewers, you have a good chance that you see your own video every day. A great chance to conquer the world with your work!

Jury

The jury is formed by the band members of The Q4 and Top Notch owner Kees de Koning.
